Connor Lewellen is a board-certified Physician Assistant whose practice blends compassionate patient care with a solid foundation in exercise science.
After earning a Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of the Cumberlands, Connor obtained his Florida PA license and started his clinical work in the field of neurology. Connor’s work in neurology honed his diagnostic skills for patients with complex medical conditions.
Connor’s path to medicine was anchored in movement science. He completed both a Master of Science in Kinesiology and a Bachelor of Science in Health Science at the University of Central Florida, graduating on the Dean’s List three times. During his time at UCF, he interned with the Orlando City Soccer Club and Orlando Pride.
Connor joined the Orlando Health Jewett Orthopedic Institute in 2024 on the Shoulder and Elbow team with Dr. Ben Service. Connor’s background knowledge in both kinesiology and neurology have given him a great foundation when treating patients with complex shoulder and elbow pathology. Connor is often mentoring PA students and the OH Jewett APP fellows, not only about shoulder surgery, but also about the importance of non-surgical shoulder orthopedic care. Connor frequently answers complex questions, prescribes medications, and performs procedures—including many peri-articular injections in the shoulder and elbow.
Connor maintains current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications and is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Associates. His commitment to lifelong learning and patient-centered care drives his work every day.
When he’s not in the office or the operating room, you’ll find Connor staying active in the gym, playing golf, and spending time with his family and friends. He enjoys watching the Tampa Bay Lightning, UCF Football, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Connor is passionate about empowering patients to understand their conditions and play an active role in their own recovery.
